Professional Sales
Many products available through Aesthetics Importing are for professional use only and cannot (and should not) be provided to untrained members of the public.

Aesthetics Importing can, through its contracts with various manufacturers, only supply some products to industry-recognised qualified beauty therapists.

If you were trained within New Zealand, the following qualifications would be recognised as an industry-recognised qualification:

• ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma*
• ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO Aestheticienne (Facial Therapy) Diploma**
• ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO Physiatrics (Body Therapy) Diploma**
• ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO Electrology Diploma**
• ITEC or CIBTAC Diploma in Nail Technology (for nail technology items only)

A beauty therapy*, beautician**, nail technology*** and/or electrology** qualification from:

• The National School of Aesthetics
• The Elite International School of Beauty Therapy and Spa Therapies
• Joyce Blok Institute of Professional Beauty Therapy
• International College of Camille
• New Zealand Institute of Beauty Therapy & Electrolysis
• The Beauty Therapy College of New Zealand
• Wellington School of Beauty Therapy
• Other and International (non-New Zealand-based) qualifications will be researched and the person will be notified.

* indicates that this qualification must comprise of a pass in beautician (facial therapy), physiatrics (body therapy) and electrolysis.
** indicates that if the therapist has a pass in this qualification only (or a combination of two but not all three), he or she will only be able to use certain products.
*** indicates that it must be a pass in an NZQA-Approved nail technology qualification.

Student Sales
Schools with beauty therapy training as their main educational goal may be able to gain Janssen Cosmeceutical or other products for training in their institutions.

In order for a school to gain the product, the training must be to the standard demanded by Janssen, Uniprobe and/or Aesthetics Importing. For example, Beautician training must be to the recognised ITEC, CIBTAC or CIDESCO level (i.e. the syllabus must include all aspects of the industry-recognised qualification, including electrical equipment). Currently, The National School of Aesthetics uses Janssen Cosmeceutical.

Students who are in courses that lead to one of the following qualifications may be eligible to gain access to our products with a student discount. (Proof of current study is required.)

If you are a student training within New Zealand, and one of the following qualifications will be available to you after examination, you may be able to purchase our products:
